BOOKING A CAKE

Firstly, thank you for considering the Cake Dove to create your dream cake.

 

WEDDING CAKE PROCESS
Please fill in the Contact form provided, and I will be in touch with you shortly to confirm my availability.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT
On receiving your details, I will get in touch with you either by phone or email.
*Please check your junk mail box should you not have heard back within 24-48 hrs as I have been known to sit in there sometimes, unread.

 

PHONE CONTACT
​A brief follow-up call will follow. We will also arrange a Consultation visit with you both to discuss in far more detail your ideas for your cake, and venue. Your flowers (if you know at this stage), and also the style & image you are wanting to portray for your big day.

If you would like to order a cake-tasting box, an opportunity to try before you buy, this can also be arranged. 
Each cake-tasting box comprises of two portions each, of four different flavour combinations you have chosen, to enjoy before our consultation. 
The cost for this service will be £30.00, which also inc post & packaging.


A PHONE CONSULTATION
Should you not be able to meet-up in person, we can organise a phone consultation or Zoom call instead. This will be a relaxed 30-45 minute appointment to discuss (as above) all relevant details regarding your cake and wedding ideas.
I will then put together for you a written account of all we have discussed in our call, and details and sketches of your cake.

 

COSTS AND TIME SCALE
The cost of your cake will be dependant upon the size, decoration detail & type of flowers you'd like to choose. 

 

YOUR DEPOSIT 
A deposit of £100.00 will be asked in order to secure 'a date for you' in my diary to create your Wedding cake.

 

CONTRACT DETAILS
A Contract Letter will be drawn up for you, along with your final Wedding cake fee.


The remaining balance will be paid 4 weeks prior to the completion date of your cake.

 

 

 

DELIVERY & SET-UP FEE

All Wedding cakes include a free set-up and delivery service within Surrey.

The Cake Dove will also deal first-hand with your wedding venue in regards to the safe delivery of your wedding cake on the morning of your wedding.  

Cakes delivered outside of Surrey will incur a small charge. 
This will be dependent upon time & mileage taken, & so charge accordingly.
